Internationalization of family firms-challenges and opportunities in Russia

The family firms (FFs), especially the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), play an instrumental role in economic spectrum of Russian economy with respect to their contribution income, output, employment, ceteris paribus. FFs not only contribute domestic business activities but also make a significant international business. Ever since launch mass privatization program (MPP) Russia during 1992–1994 numerous disruptions on landscape have emerged, as result, been experiencing several new opportunities challenges market. However, it is noticeable that corporate regulatory, governance systems do even clearly define FFs. current study explores following research objectives. First, motivation internationalization Russia; second, process internationalization, third, problems faced by Different theoretical perspectives discussed problematize analyze objectives study. qualitative based semi-structured interview method.
